Turning Class (Tuesday at 4PM)

Carving and Turning introduces students ages 12 and up to two traditional ways of shaping wood. They learn safe carving techniques and use a lathe to turn simple projects, starting with basic cuts and working toward more finished pieces. The class helps students build confidence, tool control, creativity, and a good feel for how wood behaves.
